Elizabeth L. Soucek, known to all as “Bliss”, is a lifelong resident of Milford, Delaware and a graduate of Milford Senior High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English, Summa Cum Laude, with honors, from Point Park University and her J.D. from George Mason University’s School of Law. She became a member of the Delaware Bar in 2011. She clerked for three judges with Sussex County Family Court for a year before entering private practice. She has been the Secretary of Sussex County Bar Association, and an associate member of the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners. She was a CASA/Child Attorney for the Office of the Child Advocate for eight years, representing children experiencing foster care. Bliss has practiced family law and real estate, and now specializes in estate planning. She has always been drawn to areas of law where she can make a difference and help others through challenging times in their lives.
In her spare time, she teaches ballet and tap at Tatiana Akinfieva Dance Academy in Milford. She also serves as a choreographer for local community theaters (including Possum Point Players in Georgetown and Second Street Players in Milford). She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Rocky.
