Our Process in 3 Easy Steps

Inquiry

Your initial inquiry to our office will be directed to our Client Relationship Manager. She will briefly talk with you to learn about your needs and confirm that our firm provides the legal services you are seeking. She will also schedule your initial consultation with our Client Services Director. After the initial consultation is scheduled, the Client Relationship Manager will send you a written welcome, which will include a short worksheet that we ask you to complete and return prior to your scheduled appointment. The worksheet helps us prepare for your consultation to ensure you get the most out of your appointment.

Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is designed as an opportunity for you to discuss your need or objective and for the Client Services Director to get to know important facts that are relevant to that need or objective. During the initial consultation, you should expect the Client Services Director to outline options for you to consider that will apply to your circumstances and describe the legal services we offer to address your need or accomplish your objective. Many of our matters are billed at a fixed price. This means that when we review our process, we will also quote the fixed price to complete the work, which is intended to cover the breadth of those legal services. In fixed price matters the price is based on the legal services required, not on the value of the assets involved. Some matters are billed at an hourly rate, which will also be reviewed at the initial consultation.

Inquiry

If you elect to hire our firm after completing the initial consultation, you will then meet with one of our attorneys for a Design Meeting. They will build upon the options discussed at the initial consultation by offering legal guidance and creating conversations to understand your wishes prior to drafting. Communication is key to any good relationship. While the matters you hire us to help with are complex, we pride ourselves on helping you understand your legal matter so that you are engaged and confident as we work together.
